Here's today's NHL Nugget — This Weekend's Way Back When jumps back to Dec. 27, 2000, when Penguins legend, Mario Lemieux, returned to the Pittsburgh ice for the first time after a 44-month retirement hiatus, and an induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997. Lemieux recorded a goal and two assists in the contest, helping the Penguins to a 5-0 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs.
