The Premier Hockey Federation Players' Association named Alex Sinatra as its executive director.

It's a new era of leadership for the Premier Hockey Federation.

On Monday, the PHF Players Association announced a new executive director, naming Alex Sinatra to the post that was previously occupied by Anya Packer, prior to her becoming general manager of the Metropolitan Riveters.

Sinatra's qualifications and experience speak for themselves.

Sinatra is a lawyer that has served as in-house counsel for a professional sports team as well as multiple corporate entities. She is also the founder and CEO of Your Potential for Everything, a sports consulting firm that helps women and minorities in the sports and marketing industries grow their businesses. Sinatra contributes to USA Today's NFL Wire as well, showing the true scope of her range as a sports professional.

“I am honored to be selected by the players of the PHF to serve as their Executive Director of the Players’ Association,” stated Sinatra in the official release announcing her appointment.

“The grit, determination, and work ethic of these players is inspiring. They are champions on and off the ice and I couldn’t be more proud to serve them. We want to change the sport of hockey for the better and continue to create opportunities for both current and future players.”

Sinatra's job is not an easy one, as she will guide the PHF Players Association through the height of a global pandemic. But one look at her resume should demonstrate that she is more than up for the challenge.
