Since retiring from professional hockey Daniel Tkaczuk has dedicated himself to helping young players develop the skills necessary to succeed on the ice. Last year The Hockey News teamed up with Tkaczuk to create a series of skill development videos and we are back at it again this year.
On this installment of Pro Tips, Tkaczuk demonstrates a drill that develops a player’s ability to move their upper body in a different direction than their stride, making it harder for a defender to predict their next move.
