Will MacLaren and Jamie Tozer discuss a tight race at the top of the QMJHL standings, players named to opening-night NHL rosters, 'Q' alumni with the Bruins and more.

Boston Bruins players Charlie Coyle and Brad Marchand played in the QMJHL before their NHL careers got underway.

On this week's QMJHL coverage on The Hockey News On The 'Q' Podcast with Will MacLaren and Jamie Tozer:

    - It's a tight race at the top of the QMJHL standings, with slim margins separating the top six teams in the East and four teams tying for the Western Conference lead.

    - A few unexpected names appear atop the QMJHL points leaderboard. Acadie-Bathurst's Milo Roelens and Moncton's Yoan Loshing lead the league with 15 points each.

    - The Boston Bruins are the NHL team profile of the week, where Will and Jamie examine each NHL team's players from the QMJHL. There are no drafted players currently in the 'Q,' but some big names used to play there, including captain Brad Marchand.

    - Almost 80 players were named to opening-night NHL rosters last week, including Tristan Luneau on the Anaheim Ducks.

    - Sherbrooke Pheonix Gilles Bouchard will be headed to the 2024 world juniors this winter.
