What is next for the Toronto Maple Leafs after firing Sheldon Keefe? Are the Rangers on another level, or are the hurricanes just overhyped? How are the PWHL playoffs looking? All that and more.

Ryan Kennedy and David Alter look around the NHL and beyond in The Hockey News Pre-Game Show.

This weekend's episode kicks off with everyone's favorite topic of what's next for the Leafs now that they have been eliminated. Ryan and David discuss the firing of coach Sheldon Keefe, the recent press conference the team held and its implications among other things. Then from there the guys move to the current second-round matchups. They debate whether the Rangers are insanely good or if the Hurricanes are just weaker than anticipated, and then on the flip-side, they also dive into the tight battles going on between the Stars and Avalanche, the Panthers and Bruins, and the the Oilers and Canucks.

The show then shifts to the topic of Utah through which Ryan and David give their thoughts and opinions on the 20 names that fans were given to vote on for Utah's incoming NHL team. Next, THN's very own PWHL writer Curtis Martin joins the show to talk with Ryan and David about the PWHL playoffs. They give their thoughts on the "pick your opponent" playoff seeding, who's looking good early, game venues and even picks for who will win MVP.
