Ahead of Boxing Day, Ryan Kennedy and Michael Traikos broke down Team Canada's roster for the 2024 world juniors and what to expect from them.

The time ticks until the 2024 world juniors kick off in Gothenburg, Sweden. Team Canada begins the quest for a third straight gold medal at this tournament on Dec. 26 at 8:30 a.m. ET against Team Finland.

Leading up to the tournament, Ryan Kennedy and Michael Traikos analyzed the expectations for the Canadians, as well as what to make of their roster, on The Hockey News Pre-Game Show.

Note: After recording, Hockey Canada announced Tanner Molendyk and Tristan Luneau will miss the tournament due to injury. Jorian Donovan and Ty Nelson take their places on the blueline.
