The Nashville Predators have been on fire ever since losing 9-2 to the Stars back in February, but the real spark may not have been the demoralizing loss, but instead, missing a chance to see U2 perform.

After losing to the Dallas Stars 9-2 back on Feb. 15, the Nashville Predators have been on absolute fire. The Preds have won 12 of their 14 games since the demoralizing defeat, and while the sudden change of pace could be attributed to the loss, the Preds faithful are linking famous Irish rock band U2 to the team's hot streak.
After the home loss to Dallas, the Preds went on a road trip that saw them have an off-day in Vegas, during which they were supposed to go see U2 perform at the Sphere. However, given the huge loss, the team's management and leaders forced the players to forgo the concert and instead return to Nashville to practice.
Whether or not missing the concert is what ultimately fired the team up is unknown, but Preds fans and the media are running with that narrative. And what Nashville fans can't speculate is how hot their team has been as of late.
