Nikita Kucherov, Nathan MacKinnon and Auston Matthews have been named the NHL's 2024 Ted Lindsay Award finalists. The NHL has named its three finalists for the Ted Lindsay Award. Tampa Bay Lightning winger Nikita Kucherov, Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon and Toronto Maple Leafs center Auston Matthews are all in the running for the award. The Ted Lindsay Award is given to the most outstanding player in the NHL. Members of the NHLPA determine the winner by voting. Kucherov, 30, is a deserving Ted Lindsay Award candidate. The superstar forward had a remarkable season for the Lightning, recording 44 goals and a league-leading 144 points in 81 games. He also became the first winger in NHL history to reach 100 assists in a single season. The superstar center scored a league-leading 69 goals, securing his third Maurice 'Rocket' Richard Trophy. He also posted a career-high 107 points.
