The New York Rangers have been on fire as of late and all season for that matter, but according to hockey historian Stan Fischler, that heat will inevitably result in the franchise's fifth Stanley Cup win.

The New York Rangers have definitely stepped up their game this season following their first-round exit against the Devils in the 2022-23 playoffs. With Artemi Panarin leading the team with 97 points and a much improved season from former No. 1 pick Alexis Lafreniere, the Rangers sit atop the Metropolitan Division and are second in the league by just a single point to the Bruins.

THN's Rangers team site contributor and legendary hockey historian Stan Fischler joined Ryan Kennedy and Michael Traikos this past Tuesday's edition of The Hockey News Pre-Game Show, during which he shared his opinion that the Rangers are going to win it all come playoff time. The Rangers have been looking red hot as of late — winning six of their last eight games — making Stan's prediction all the more possible.
