Ville Heinola stayed with the Winnipeg Jets past the NHL trade deadline but hasn't found a spot on the team despite impressing in the AHL.

Ville Heinola has been an up-and-down prospect to follow for the Winnipeg Jets.
Jacob Stoller and Patrick Williams discussed Heinola's season with the Jets and the AHL's Manitoba Moose in the March 3 edition of The Hockey News On The 'A' Podcast. Jacob brought up some concerns with how much of a chance Heinola is getting on the NHL roster despite getting 26 points in 30 games in the AHL with solid underlying stats.
However, Heinola was held to one assist in 10 games with Winnipeg between late November and mid-January. He only averaged around 13 minutes per game in ice time with the Jets.
Are the Jets making the right move by keeping him in the AHL to perfect his game, or would he be able to make an NHL roster somewhere else? Where can he step up his game, and how has he excelled the most?
