Defense prospect Lassi Thomson is entering his fourth season since the Ottawa Senators selected in 19th overall in the 2019 NHL draft. He's been up and down during his North American pro hockey career, but there are still opportunities for him to jump up in the depth chart.
That said, time is ticking on Thomson to prove he can live up to the potential he had in 2019. And as a ton of Senators prospects graduated to the NHL in the past couple of seasons, Thomson is one of their top guys to watch for the future, ranking seventh on the team in The Hockey News' Future Watch issue.
