Coaching great Scotty Bowman, Herb Brooks are one thing …. But creativity is something missing in today’s hockey… where are the NFL type coaches who use creativity like McCay and Andy Reid? Leadership, system that players can visualize and yet have the freedom to create from within it?  I think hockey need a shot in the arm in this area. I see too much of the same thing and nothing evolving. I love hockey. It is a man’s game! You must have grit and that puck could end your career, or a skate or stick could as well … you have to be a man with guts to play.  But I want to see a new coach, develop a new system, let creativity exist for talented players to make it there own and be creative on every play
