The Hockey News' Derek Lee reports from the Ducks' morning skate.

IRVINE, Calif. - The Ducks take on the Sharks in their final preseason game tonight. The Ducks' lineup mimics what could be the lineup come opening night when they face the Sharks again in about a week.

Troy Terry returns from the minor lower-body injury he's been dealing with and will play on a line with Frank Vatrano and Ryan Strome.

"Strome is so good at distributing the puck and creating space for me and Frank scored 37 (goals last season) for a reason," Terry said. "He can rip the puck. But more than that, he does things the right way, he goes to the net hard and plays hard in all areas. All three of us bring something different."

"I was trying to get back in for the last one," Terry said. "It's just the timing and the puck touches that you benefit from these preseason games and just getting back up to speed."

"Troy's just got to continue to build on what he's done here and why he was rewarded with a seven-year contract," head coach Greg Cronin said. "He's got an elite shot and he's got to drive forward with the puck. "
