The Hockey News' Derek Lee previews the Ducks' matchup against the New Jersey Devils.

ANAHEIM, Calif. - The Ducks are right back at it tonight after a 6-4 last night in San Jose against the Sharks. 11 players found their name on the scoresheet for Anaheim. Adam Henrique led the pack with three points.

"Our defense did a great job all night battling and guys stepped up when we needed them," said Henrique to Ducks digital content producer Matt Weller after last night's game. "We got big goals at key times, where they scored but we came right back and got another one. We put pressure back on them. That was big for our team and now we have to try to roll that into tomorrow night."

Tonight's opponent is a familiar one for Henrique, who spent the first seven seasons and change with the Devils. He was traded to the Ducks during the 2017-18 season for Sami Vatanen.

Henrique has enjoyed playing against his former team, collecting nine points in 11 games and most notably scoring a hat trick in their last meeting with the Devils back in December.

The Ducks are likely to be without defenseman Cam Fowler tonight. Fowler left last night's game less than a minute into the first period after taking a puck to the face off a slap shot from San Jose's Fabian Zetterlund. Olen Zellweger was recalled this afternoon and will likely slot into the lineup in Fowler's absence.

Troy Terry (upper-body) traveled with the team to San Jose but did not dress. His status for tonight's game is unknown. Brett Leason again assumed Terry's spot on the second line alongside Frank Vatrano and Mason McTavish and scored a shorthanded goal against San Jose.

    Fast Facts:
-Leo Carlsson scored his first goal of 2024 last night against the Sharks. He is now three goals away from tying Stanislav Chistov for the most goals by a teenager (12 in 2002-03) in a single season in franchise history.
-Adam Henrique is one point away from tying Scott Niedermayer (264) for 10th on the club's all-time points list.
-Jackson LaCombe recorded the second multi-point game of his career last night against the Sharks with two assists.
-The Ducks are 2-5-0 in the second game of a back-to-back (SEGABABA).
