Anaheim has stockpiled a ton of young assets over the years.

One of the only good parts about a team that struggles for a few years is that they normally stockpile strong draft assets. This is exactly what the Anaheim Ducks have done over the last few years, as they have missed the postseason since 2018. The team has the look of an organization on the rise, and now is the time for them to strike. They have a plethora of young talent on both sides of the ice, and a new head coach that is expected to help them take that next step. Heading into the 2023 season, the Ducks just need to show improvement from last season to call it a success. Not many are expecting them to do much more, so anything else would be seen as them being ahead of their rebuild. It’s going to be a very interesting season for the Ducks, but one that could provide the groundwork for their future success.

In other Ducks-related news, the team's pipeline came out ranked as the top unit in the NHL. Anaheim is looking ahead to the postseason if things go well for them this year, and the status of long-term goalie John Gibson remains up in the air.
