The Ducks are shooting for the stars this coming year!
The Anaheim Ducks will be getting their new season started here shortly, and there is much excitement in the air surrounding the team. Not only did they bring in a new head coach, but they also added some quality veteran pieces to the team as well. Anaheim wants to take the next step forward in their rebuild and possibly even compete for a playoff spot next season. While it may be unlikely that they do so, the hope is that they have improved enough to make it happen. Head coach Greg Cronin doesn’t want any excuses this year as he makes his head coaching debut. He believes that this unit can get into the dance, and with their talented young players, it’s a possibility. After all, weirder things have happened in sports over the years.
In other Ducks-related news, the team is hosting a meet and greet with some players for fans during their #FlyTogether event. We finally got some sort of update on restricted free agent Trevor Zegras, and the team’s pipeline was ranked first overall in the entire NHL.
