The Anaheim Ducks won a thrilling come-from-behind game against the Columbus Blue Jackets in overtime on Tuesday, marking their second win of the season. It was a solid performance from the entire team, and it stopped their mini-losing streak. The Ducks now sit with a record of 2-4 on the season and wing Frank Vatrano continued his incredible start to the year. Vatrano notched his fifth goal of the season in the win, and he has been the most productive member of this Anaheim roster so far. It has been nice to see him step up, and it has helped keep the Ducks afloat while the team figures some things out. While Anaheim may not win a ton of games this season, they are looking much more competitive than last season. This is all anyone can ask for from a young team, and hopefully, we see more wins in their future.
In other Ducks-related news, goalie Lukáš Dostál has also started the season off in a great way, picking up both Ducks wins this year. Head coach Greg Cronin is still leaning on the job and Anaheim has a chance to start a small win streak as they head to Boston for a matchup with the Bruins on Thursday.
