The Ducks have their 2025-26 schedule and will open the season on the road against the Seattle Kraken on Oct. 9. This will be the third consecutive season that the Ducks have begun their season on the road.

In fact, seven of the Ducks’ first nine games are on the road. They’ll travel to the Midwest before concluding the five-game road trip in Florida.

Other highlights in the Ducks schedule include a Black Friday matinee against the Los Angeles Kings on Nov. 28 and the returns of John Gibson and Trevor Zegras to Honda Center on Oct. 31 and Mar. 18 with the Detroit Red Wings and Philadelphia Flyers, respectively.

Both players were traded this summer, marking the end of more than a decade with the Ducks for Gibson and a topsy-turvy six-year tenure with the Ducks for Zegras. Former Duck Isac Lundeström, who was in the organization for seven years, will also face Anaheim on Dec. 20.

Former New York Ranger Chris Kreider will return to Madison Square Garden on Dec. 15 to face the only NHL team he’d ever played for prior to his trade to Anaheim this past June. So too will former Rangers captain Jacob Trouba, who also unceremoniously exited New York City via trade last December.

The Ducks will spend the entire month of February at home thanks to the Winter Olympics break. Those four February home games are part of a nine-game homestand, their longest of the season.

Anaheim will again finish off the season on the road with trips to Minnesota and Nashville. Their final home game of the season will be on Apr. 12 against the Vancouver Canucks.
