The Hockey News' Derek Lee reports from the Ducks' Saturday morning practice on Mar. 23.

IRVINE, Calif. - After a day off on Friday, the Ducks were back on the ice for practice on Saturday. They're coming off one of their best games of the season, a 4-0 win over the Chicago Blackhawks––their first shutout of the season.

Leo Carlsson left Thursday's game after colliding knees with Alex Vlasic but didn't look any worse for wear on Saturday. He participated fully in practice and didn't appear to be limited in any way.

"It's fine," said Carlsson of his knee. "Just a bit sore. Bruising inside, I think, but nothing major. Looked worse than it was."

Radko Gudas also took the ice for the first time since suffering an upper-body injury against the Minnesota Wild last week. He skated in a non-contact jersey and is unlikely to play tomorrow against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Trevor Zegras continues to join the team for practice as he recovers from a broken ankle. It's unclear how close he is to a return, but head Greg Cronin did say he is a game-time decision for tomorrow's game. Zegras skated with the fourth line today––which he has done since returning to practices.

"Yeah, probably. One of these days," said Zegras when asked if he feels ready for game action. "Whether it's Sunday or maybe on the (upcoming) road trip, but definitely coming up for sure."
