The Hockey News' Derek Lee reports from the Ducks' Saturday afternoon practice.
IRVINE, Calif. - The Ducks were back on the ice for practice following their 3-1 loss to the Seattle Kraken on Friday night.
"I would like us to skate a little more with the puck and be a little bit more confident," said defenseman Radko Gudas after the game. "Those are things we have to keep working on. Playing with the puck is something that we have to emphasize and do more of."
Goaltender Alex Stalock remained with the team with John Gibson still unavailable. The team has not publicly disclosed any issues that Gibson is currently dealing with.
Mason McTavish has not practiced since leaving Tuesday's game against the Calgary Flames with a lower-body injury. After Saturday's practice, he was spotted in the locker room with a brace on his right knee and leg area.
Trevor Zegras also left Saturday's practice after taking a puck to the mouth. A pass ramped up a stick and hit him directly in the mouth. Zegras immediately got off the ice and went to the locker room.
