In their final preseason game, the Anaheim Ducks take on the Arizona Coyotes in Arizona on Saturday afternoon.
The big piece of news for this game is the return of Ducks defenseman Jamie Drysdale.
After signing his contract extension earlier in the week, Drysdale is returning for his first game of the season.
On the more negative side of things, Leo Carlsson is not expected to play after going off the ice injured in practice Friday.
Per Elliotte Friedman, this won't be a long term injury for Carlsson but he won't play Saturday.
With no morning skate, there isn't a good indication of lines for Saturday's game, however, I would assume the lines will be similar to Thursday's game with Trevor Zegras or Ryan Strome replacing Carlsson on the top line and Dysdale factoring in on the backend.
For Arizona, I'm expecting the same lineup that played Thursday.
Being the last preseason game for both teams, I expect the intensity to be high in this game. It's a dress rehearsal for opening night for both teams.
John Gibson isn't expected to play, I'm expecting Lukas Dostal to get the nod in net.
