This Bruins prospect is continuing to shine in the AHL.

Providence Bruins goalie Michael DiPietro was recently named to the 2025 AHL All-Star Game. When noting that he has played excellently all season and has become Providence's best goalie, he undoubtedly earned it.

In 21 games this season with Providence, DiPietro sports a 13-5-3 record, a .927 save percentage, and a 2.04 goals-against average. With numbers like these, he has been one of the top goalies in the AHL this season.

Yet, what's more encouraging about DiPietro's play is that he is not slowing down, either. In his last start against the Syracuse Crunch on Jan. 15, he stopped 37 out of 39 shots in a win. He has also had a .912 save percentage or better in seven of his last eight appearances. This includes a 21-save shutout against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Dec. 20.

While the Boston Bruins currently have Jeremy Swayman and Joonas Korpisalo as their NHL goaltenders, having a young goalie like DiPietro thriving in the AHL is marvelous. If he keeps this up, he could have a future on Boston's roster.
