This former Bruins goalie is playing some spectacular hockey right now.

The Boston Bruins made the tough decision to trade star goalie Linus Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators this past off-season. While the start of his tenure with the Senators was not the best, he is absolutely dominating the NHL right now.

Over his last six appearances, Ullmark has a 6-0-0 record, a 0.83 goals-against average (GAA), a .972 save percentage (SV%) and two shutouts. This includes a 30-save shutout in his last start against the Seattle Kraken on Dec. 17.

Due to Ullmark's spectacular recent play, the Senators have not only gotten their season back on track but are now very much in the playoff hunt. At this juncture of the campaign, they have a 16-13-2 record and are on a four-game winning streak.

When the Senators acquired Ullmark, they hoped that he would finally fix their long-term goalie problems and help the Atlantic Division club take that next step. Right now, acquiring him looks like a real home run for the Sens.
