The Boston Bruins face the Chicago Blackhawks for the second time this season as they look to improve to 6-0. Line rushes and updates on Milan Lucic and Derek Forbort below:

The Boston Bruins are set to take on the Chicago Blackhawks at the United Center on Tuesday in the last leg of their four-game road trip. The Bruins swept their three-game swing in California to remain undefeated (5-0-0), which marks the second time the team started 5-0 in its 100-year history.

The Bruins last faced the Blackhawks (2-4-0) on opening night, where Connor Bedard scored his first NHL goal before Boston came back for the 3-1 win.

Here is how the team lined up for morning skate, according to The Athletic’s Fluto Shinzawa, who is on site in Chicago:

Brad Marchand - Pavel Zacha - David Pastrnak

Jake DeBrusk - Matt Poitras - Morgan Geekie

James van Riemsdyk - Charlie Coyle - Trent Frederic

Jakub Lauko - Johnny Beecher - Patrick Brown

Danton Heinen

Matt Grzelcyk - Charlie McAvoy

Hampus Lindholm - Brandon Carlo

Derek Forbort - Kevin Shattenkirk

Ian Mitchell

Jeremy Swayman

Linus Ullmark

Milan Lucic reportedly started on the ice for morning skate, but left before line rushes. The 35-year-old forward was a game-time decision before Sunday’s 3-1 win against the Anaheim Ducks, where he was ultimately ruled out with a lower-body injury.

Derek Forbort (undisclosed) was also listed as day-to-day by Bruins coach Jim Montgomery, missing the Anaheim win as well, but his presence in morning skate line rushes suggests he could be good to go for Tuesday.

Jeremy Swayman appears poised to start in net, as the team is rotating their Swayman-Ullmark tandem each game to start the year. Swayman made 32 saves in Boston’s 4-2 win against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday. Through two starts, Swayman stopped 66-of-70 shots (.943) and will presumably have his crack at fending off Connor Bedard and the Blackhawks after Ullmark started against them on Oct. 11.

In Chicago, Bedard is second on the team in points through six games, with two goals and two assists. 38-year-old Corey Perry leads with five (two goals, three assists).

Former Bruins Nick Foligno (one goal, two assists) and Taylor Hall (two assists in five games) are both among the team’s top scorers.

Hall will not face his old team again after he was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday morning, retroactive to Oct. 21. He originally sustained a shoulder injury in the Oct. 11 matchup on a hit by Brandon Carlo, and took another hit in Saturday’s 5-3 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights.
