3 Potential Trade Destinations For Sabres' Henri Jokiharju

One specific Sabre who stands out as a trade candidate is defenseman Henri Jokiharju. Contenders can't have enough defensive depth, so the right-shot blueliner could generate a good amount of interest leading up to March 7. Due to this, let's discuss three potential landing spots for him if the Sabres elect to shop him.
Winnipeg Jets
The Jets should be looking to add another defenseman before the trade deadline passes. Their right side, in particular, could use a boost, so a player like Jokiharju could make sense for them.
When looking at their current blueline, Jokiharju could slot nicely on their third pairing with Logan Stanley.
Edmonton Oilers
The Oilers could be a team to watch when it comes to Jokiharju. It is not a secret that they could use more depth on the right side of their defense, and the 2017 first-round pick would give them just that.
If the Oilers acquired Jokiharju, he would at least provide them with an upgrade on their third pairing with Brett Kulak. In addition, he could also be another option for their penalty kill if acquired.
Vancouver Canucks
While the Canucks have been busy, they should not be done making moves as they look to secure a playoff spot in the Western Conference. The Vincent Desharnais experiment did not work in Vancouver, and they could use another NHL-caliber right-shot blueliner because of it. Thus, Jokiharju could make sense for them.
Jokiharju could compete for second-pairing minutes on the Canucks with Tyler Myers if acquired. If not there, he would improve their bottom pairing.
