Peyton Krebs will be looking to have another strong season for the Sabres.
Peyton Krebs landed a nice four-year, $18 million contract from the Buffalo Sabres this off-season.
It is not difficult to understand why, as the 25-year-old forward put together a strong 2025-26 season for the Sabres.
In 82 games last season for the Sabres, Krebs hit new career highs with 12 goals, 27 assists, 39 points, and 201 hits. With numbers like these, Krebs not only took his offensive game to a new level but also his physicality.
Now, after having an impressive breakout year, Krebs will be aiming to replicate it in 2026-27. This is especially so when noting that the Sabres lost multiple players during the off-season and need their players to be on their A-game.
With Krebs being only 25 years old, there is clear reason to believe that he can build off his strong 2025-26 season this campaign. In fact, the possibility of him improving a bit more offensively should not be ruled out.
It is going to be very intriguing to see what kind of season Krebs can have for the Sabres from here. He is a player to keep a very close eye on in 2026-27.
