Sabres center Dylan Cozens is one of four players listed by Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos as potential trade targets.

With the NHL trade deadline just nine days away, speculation continues to rise about a number of Buffalo Sabres who are attracting interest and potentially being on the move. On Sportsnet insider Nick Kypreos's latest Trade Board, four Sabres players with terms remaining or under control for a number of years were listed.

Defensemen Bowen Bryam and Mattias Samuelsson, center Dylan Cozens, and winger Alex Tuch are on the list. Byram is an arbitration-eligible restricted free agent and has played well with Rasmus Dahlin, posting a career-high 29 points in 56 games. The Sabres could be looking up the BC native long-term, but they have time since the 23-year-old is two years away from hitting the open market. Samuelsson, who is in the second year of a seven-year, $30 million deal, has been in and out of the lineup due to injury and has nine points in 37 games this season.

Cozens has been the subject of widespread trade speculation in spite of having five years remaining on a seven-year, $49.7 million contract because he has not come close to matching his career-high 31 goals set in 2023. Tuch was linked to the Tampa Bay Lightning by Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman in a 32 Thoughts column earlier this month and said there are a number of clubs that could have an interest in the 28-year-old veteran, who is signed through next season at a cap hit of $4.75 million.

Adams said recently that he is interested in re-signing both veteran forward Jason Zucker and Greenway, but that it would have to make sense to both sides. If the Sabres cannot get either extended, it is assumed they will be moved for the best return available.
