With NHL training camps just about here, a former Buffalo Sabres forward has landed a professional tryout (PTO) agreement from the Nashville Predators.
Former Sabres forward Tyson Jost has signed a professional tryout (PTO) agreement with the Nashville Predators, PuckPedia reports.
Jost signing a PTO with the Predators comes after he spent the 2025-26 season with them. In 69 games last season for Nashville, the former Sabres forward posted eight goals, eight assists, 16 points, 67 hits, and a minus-21 rating. Now, he will be looking to earn a contract for the 2026-27 from them after landing this PTO.
Jost's time with the Sabres began during the 2022-23 season when Buffalo claimed him off waivers from the Minnesota Wild. From there, he spent the remainder of the 2022-23 campaign and then the 2023-24 season as a member of the Sabres.
In 102 games over two seasons with the Sabres, Jost posted 10 goals, 18 assists, 28 points, 44 blocks, and 94 hits. His time with the Sabres ended when he signed with the Carolina Hurricanes during the 2024 NHL off-season.
