The club will have 17 theme nights to celebrate a variety of events
The Buffalo Sabres announced on Thursday that they will have 17 theme nights during their 42-game home schedule this season. According to a press release from the club, the theme nights will celebrate "hockey in Buffalo, local community groups, and holidays – plus a new music-themed celebration with the introduction of Disco Night."
The games include the home opener (Saturday, October 3rd against former Sabre Bowen Byram, Buffalo native Patrick Kane and the Chicago Blackhawks, and will include handing out a mini Atlantic Division Champion banner.
