The Buffalo Sabres are almost at the end of their season, as they have just five games remaining. Overall, it has been another tough season for the Sabres, but off-season addition Ryan McLeod has undoubtedly been one of their bright spots.

McLeod has broken out in a big way during his first year with the Sabres. In 74 games, he has set new career highs with 30 assists and 49 points. He is also on the verge of hitting a new milestone, as he needs to score just one more time to record his first-career 20-goal season.

The most goals McLeod scored before joining the Sabres was 12, which was during this past season with the Buffalo Sabres. Clearly, McLeod has hit a new level in Buffalo, and he now has a good shot of scoring 20 goals this season because of it.

McLeod will certainly be a player to watch during the Sabres' final games of the season. The 2018 second-round pick has been quite the pickup for the Sabres, and hitting the 20-goal mark would only make his strong year even better. Let's see if he does just that from here.
