The Sabres have recalled one of their promising prospects.

The Buffalo Sabres have announced that forward Tyson Kozak has been recalled from their AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans.

Kozak, 22, appeared in his first three career NHL games earlier this season with Buffalo. With the NHL squad this season, he has one goal, two hits, and two blocks.

Kozak has hit a new level with the Americans this season as well. In 24 games, he has six goals, 12 points, and a plus-7 rating. This is after he had five goals and 12 points in 41 games with Rochester this past season.
