Buffalo Sabres forward Isak Rosen has been having himself a nice year with the Rochester Americans. In 32 games with the American Hockey League (AHL) club so far this season, the 2021 first-round pick has recorded 24 goals, 15 assists, and 39 points.
With numbers like these, there is no question that Rosen is demonstrating promise at the AHL level. Yet, what's more encouraging is that Rosen is only continuing to stay hot for Rochester as the campaign rolls on.
Rosen has been playing some strong hockey for the Amerks as of late, as he has recorded five goals and nine points over his last six games. With numbers like these, it is quite clear that the young forward is continuing to shine with Rochester.
If Rosen continues to produce strong offense like this for the Amerks, it would not be surprising if it opens the door for him to get another chance on the Sabres' roster before the season is over. In 16 games so far this campaign with Buffalo, the 6-foot forward has set new career highs with three goals, four assists, and seven points.
It will now be interesting to see if Rosen can stay hot for the Amerks from here.
