Disney/Hulu and Turner Sports announced their schedules on Wednesday and the Buffalo Sabres will appear in national broadcasts seven times next season. Two of the club’s October home games; on Wednesday, October 22nd against the Detroit Red Wings and Friday, October 24th against the Toronto Maple Leafs, will be on TNT and ESPN+ respectively. 

The game against Toronto is the first of a home-and-home back-to-back against the reigning Atlantic Division champion. Three of the seven games will be against the Philadelphia Flyers: Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Philadelphia’s Xfinity Mobile Arena on TNT, Thursday, December 18 (ESPN+), and Wednesday, January 14 (TNT) at Key Bank Center. 

Other Sabres Stories

The remaining two games are an afternoon tilt on Monday, January 19 (Martin Luther King Day) at the Lenovo Center against the Carolina Hurricanes (TNT), and on Tuesday, February 3rd at Benchmark International Arena against the Tampa Bay Lightning (ESPN+). 

The NHL also announced that the start times for three of those games:  October 24 vs. Toronto, December 18 vs. Philadelphia, and February 3 at Tam.pa Bay have been changed from 7 pm to 7:30 pm.  The remaining games will be broadcast on the MSG Network / Gotham Sports App in the Western New York area, and on ESPN+ in areas not subject to blackouts.
