The NHL has named Buffalo Sabres goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen the Third Star of the Week (Nov. 4-10).

Winnipeg Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck was named the First Star, while Colorado Avalanche center Nathan MacKinnon picked up the Second Star spot.

Seeing Luukkonen be named Third Star of the Week is not particularly surprising. He put together a marvelous week of play, as he had a 3-0-0 record, a 1.30 goals-against average (GAA), and a .956 save percentage (SV%). The Sabres starter stopped 86 out of 90 shots he faced during the week.
