This Sabres goalie is continuing to dominate the AHL.

Devon Levi is one of the Buffalo Sabres' most promising prospects. The 22-year-old goalie has the tools to become a highly impactful NHL goaltender, and he is only continuing to show off his potential down in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Rochester Americans.

Since being sent back down to the Amerks last month, Levi has been nothing but excellent in the AHL. In seven appearances, the 2020 seventh-round pick has a 5-1-1 record, a .917 save percentage, and a 1.96 goals-against average.

However, what's more encouraging about Levi's play is that he only seems to improve. Levi has won each of his last four starts and has recorded two shutouts over that span. This includes a 30-save shutout against the Charlotte Checkers in his last start on Dec. 7. For this performance, he was named the AHL's Third Star of the Night.

If Levi continues to play like this with the Amerks, he could very well get another chance with the Sabres in the near future.
