The Buffalo Sabres have traded defenseman Colton Poolman to the Pittsburgh Penguins in exchange for forward Bennett MacArthur.
Poolman, 29, signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Sabres during this past off-season. The East Grand Forks, Minnesota native appeared in five AHL games for the Rochester Americans this season, where he had one assist.
Colton Poolman MacArthur, 23, is a forward prospect who has spent the entirety of this season down in the ECHL with the Wheeling Nailers. In 28 ECHL games on the season, he has three goals, seven points, and a plus-2 rating.
