This was after he played 12 games with their AHL affiliate this season, the Chicago Wolves, where he has two goals. He also did not play a game with the Canes this season. The gritty winger never ended up playing a game with Buffalo, though, as he was traded to the Winnipeg Jets during the 2014-15 season.
