Flames summoned top-prospect netminder Dustin Wolf from the minors while Markstrom is listed as day-to-day with a lower-body issue

Dan Vladar and Dustin Wolf will be under the gun to step up with number-one goalie Jacob Markstrom sidelined again.
Markstrom, who has been stellar for the club since returning from a broken finger in mid-December, is out of action due to a lower-body injury.
The Flames will turn to Vladar against the Coyotes and recalled top prospect goalie Dustin Wolf from the minors to serve as backup.
Markstrom departed early from Monday’s practice after which coach Ryan Huska said it was simply maintenance.
Following Tuesday’s morning skate, Huska told the media, “We’re not expecting it to be anything long term. No time table. He just didn't respond the way we or he would have hoped yesterday.”
Vladar has posted a 6-5-2 record with a 3.42 goals-against average and .883 save percentage this season. Wolf, who has been excellent in the AHL, has posted a 1-2-1 mark with a 3.46 goals-against average and .893 save percentage with the Flames.
This marks the 11th game Markstrom has missed this season due to injury or illness.
The Flames are looking for their first four-game winning streak of the season.
They claimed a 6-2 road win over the Coyotes last Thursday.
The Coyotes responded to that loss by thumping the Minnesota Wild 6-0 on Saturday to begin a three-game road trip. Arizona has won two of three since a three-game losing skid.
