

Calgary forward Martin Pospisil has been named to Slovakia's preliminary six-man roster for the 2026 Winter Olympics to be played in February along with forwards Juraj Slafkovsky and Tomas Tatar, and defencemen Erik Cernak, Simon Nemec and Martin Fehervary.
The 25-year-old has represented Slovakia at the 2017 U18 World Championship and the 2019 World Junior Championship during his junior years, putting up two assists. He then thrived as a senior player at the 2024 World Championship and the 2024 Olympic Qualifying tournament, scoring three goals and 10 points.
The 2018 fourth-round pick has 12 goals and 49 points in 144 games with the Flames.
