
How much changeover will happen to the team before the puck drops remains to be seen, but the Calgary Flames will kick off the exhibition portion of the 2023-24 campaign with eight pre-season games.
Calgary will open with a home date against Vancouver Canucks players and prospects on Sunday, Sept. 24. The Flames will also play host to the Seattle Kraken the next night as part of a set of split-squad games in both cities.
The Flames will also play a pair of games against the Edmonton Oilers and Winnipeg Jets before finishing the pre-season Oct. 6 on the road against the Canucks.
The regular season schedule, which is to be announced next week, will likely kick off Oct. 10.
The Flames will also be part of the Young Stars prospects tournament Sept. 15-18 in Penticton, B.C., with Winnipeg, Vancouver and Edmonton also participating.
After the draft June 28-29 in Nashville, the Flames will hold their summer prospects camp July 4-8 at Winsport.
