The Calgary Flames have signed winger Matt Coronato to a seven-year $45.5 million extension at an AAV of $6.5 million.
The 22-year-old is coming off his first full season, scoring 24 goals and 47 points in 77 games after being picked 13th overall by Calgary in the 2021 Draft.
He will be looking to build upon that next season, a few days after being pulled from Team USA's World Championship roster in what the Flames are calling a "preventative decision."
