Although the Calgary Flames have not made any deals yet on Friday as they approach the 1:00 p.m. MT NHL Trade Deadline, another former player found himself on the move early Friday morning.

Andrei Kuzmenko, who skated with the Flames for a season and a half, was dealt from the Philadelphia Flyers with a 2025 Seventh Round pick to the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a 2027 Third Round Pick.

On Jan. 31, 2024, Calgary acquired the former 30-goal scorer in the Elias Lindholm deal with the Vancouver Canucks. He scored 18 goals and 40 points in 66 games before a deal sent him to the Flyers on Jan. 30, 2025.

After just seven games with his new team, where he scored two goals and five points, Philadelphia sent him back to the Western Conference for a draft pick. In 124 career games, Kuzmenko had scored 47 goals and 95 points.
