Seems like the only RFA remaining for the Flames to sign is going to remain unsigned for a while. Forward Connor Zary and GM Craig Conroy are finding it difficult to find common ground on contract negotiations, according to Anthony Di Marco of Daily Faceoff.
The 2020 draft 24th-overall pick has a history of injuries including an ankle injury during his first full season with the AHL Calgary Wranglers that put him on the shelf for just over a month, as well as multiple injuries to his knee last season with the Flames.
It only complicates this situation for everyone involved.
