In his place, Brett Sutter [https://www.eliteprospects.com/staff/99143/brett-sutter] will take over and lead the Wranglers for the next two weeks, starting with this weekend's series against the Abbotsford Canucks before their break for the AHL All-Star Classic on Feb 2 and 3 at Palm Desert, CA. Sutter will be the Wranglers' third coach this season, following Trent Cull [https://www.eliteprospects.com/staff/1031/trent-cull], currently an interim assistant coach with the Calgary Flames, and Cirella, who has been running the bench since Dec. 22. Calgary is not only the top team in the Pacific Division with a 28-13-2-0 record and 58 points but remains the top team in the AHL, one point ahead of the Hershey Bears.
