Carolina targets an eighth consecutive victory as Brandon Bussi takes the crease against a struggling Calgary squad desperate to spark its dormant offense.

What - Game 10 (7-1-1)
When - 8 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 17
Where - Scotiabank Saddledome; Calgary, AB
How to Watch - Hurricanes Hockey Network, Sportsnet West, TVAS

The Carolina Hurricanes are continuing to roll through the start of the season and they'll be looking for an eighth straight win as they take on the Calgary Flames.

The Canes are coming off of a 3-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday, a game in which they had a perfect showing on special teams.

Brandon Bussi will be manning the net for the Canes in tonight's game as he looks to continue on the work he showed in his last two starts.

Calgary enters the game having lost six of their first seven games to start the year.

The Flames have had virtually no offensive production, with 12 total goals on the year, and that's along with allowing five goals against per game.

Regardless, the Canes are coming into the game off of travel and having played just 24 hours earlier, so it's no guarantee that they keep the streak alive, even against one of the league's worst teams.
