The Carolina Hurricanes are coming out of the trade deadline with a bit of a new look, having added both Jake Guentzel and Evgeny Kuznetsov to their team while trading away Michael Bunting.
While Guentzel continues to remain on IR, Kuznetsov is slated to make his Hurricanes debut against the New Jersey Devils (31-28-4) this afternoon.
Carolina won their last outing 4-1 over the Montreal Canadiens on Thursday.
Frederik Andersen started for the first time in over four months stopping 23 of the 24 shots he faced.
The Devils sold off quite a few pieces at this year's deadline, moving Tyler Toffoli and Colin Miller as well as reformatting their goaltending, however neither will start today.
New Jersey also has a new coach in Travis Green as they fired Lindy Ruff about a week ago.
