It's time to get weird again as the Carolina Hurricanes take on the New York Islanders (29-23-15) for the fourth and final (?) time this season.
Every game between these two teams has been decided by a single goal and goaltending has certainly been optional with a total of 25 goals having been scored in just three games.
Don't expect anything normal from this one.
Carolina is heading into the contest on a three-game winning streak and having won six of its last seven.
The scoring has exploded as of late helped along by the new additions of Evgeny Kuznetsov and Jake Guentzel.
The defense has also been getting in on the scoring action with Dmitry Orlov really looking to have settled in on the blueline.
Expect Carolina to continue its goalie rotation with Pyotr Kochetkov manning the net tonight.
New York is a team that should be coming into the contest desperate for a win. They sit just outside a playoff spot after crawling their way back into contention, but a four-game losing streak has them possibly blowing all that work.
Their compete level has been challenged by new coach Patrick Roy so this could be a team that is looking to make a statement.
