The Carolina Hurricanes will take on the New York Rangers (24-21-4) tonight in the second game of the Mikko Rantanen/Taylor Hall era.
Carolina is coming off of a 3-2 overtime loss to the New York Islanders on Saturday, but have points in five straight games.
The Canes are still trying to find the right balance and chemistry after moving Martin Necas and Jack Drury and they'll hope that a couple more practice days will help settle the new guys in.
Speaking of Necas and Drury, the pair helped the Colorado Avalanche defeat the Rangers 5-4 on Sunday with three points between them.
Before that loss, New York had had points in 10 straight dragging them out of the league basement and back into playoff contention.
