The Carolina Hurricanes have hit the road for the first time this season in what will be the longest road trip of the year.
The first stop will be tonight in Pittsburgh as the Canes prepare to take on the Penguins.
Carolina is coming off of a 4-2 win over the New Jersey Devils while the Penguins are coming off of a thrilling 6-5 overtime comeback victory over the Buffalo Sabres.
It looks like Frederik Andersen will be starting in net tonight for the Canes, his second start of the season, while the Penguins will be turning to rookie Joel Blomqvist who's had a strong start to the year in place of presumed starter Tristan Jarry who has been struggling.
The Hurricanes will be looking to get their power play clicking as it has still yet to score this season and will be hoping it's PK can slow down Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin who on top of hitting some major career milestones, have been a force to start the year.
