The Carolina Hurricanes will keep the gauntlet going, this time heading north for a game against the Toronto Maple Leafs (38-19-8).
The Canes are coming off a 4-0 victory over the Florida Panthers and have now won four of their last five.
The goaltending tandem of Frederik Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov has been dynamite for Carolina, allowing just six goals against over the last five games.
Carolina has also found fire with their new second line composed of new additions Evgeny Kuznetsov and Jake Guentzel paired up with Martin Necas.
The high-end skill on that line gives the Hurricanes a nice curveball they can throw at opponents and it looks like it's going to be a good one.
Toronto is coming off of a 6-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers and have won five of their last eight despite some piling injuries.
The Leafs are one of the leagues top scoring teams with a top-five power play, led by Auston Matthews and his Rocket Richard leading 55 goals.
Carolina will have to play tight and smart to try and limit his opportunities and not allow Toronto to dictate the game.
